As you may know Philly Model Magazine was founded by contributing photographer Mike Hirata. Mike got his start in photography producing fashion photo galleries for Philly.com and was disappointed when they canceled dedicated fashion photography. Mike subsequently re-entered fashion photography for Local Living Magazine. And was disappointed again when LLM dropped fashion coverage.
A big part of the reason why Mike founded Philly Model Magazine was to insure dedicated ongoing fashion coverage in our region. And we hope the fashion leaders who read this understand that we are going to need some fashion advertisers to be able to continue to do so.
